CD Projekt Red has announced two reasons to return to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. First is Songs of the Past, a full third expansion that brings Geralt to the quiet realm of Letten in 2027. Before that, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered arrives on September 29 as a free upgrade for existing players on supported platforms.
Geralt returns to the Path
Songs of the Past takes Geralt to Letten, a seemingly peaceful new region with darker secrets beneath the surface. CD Projekt Red is co-developing the expansion with Fool’s Theory, and it is being positioned as a full new adventure rather than a small add-on.

A remastered route back to the Continent
The second announcement is more immediate. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered is described as the definitive way to experience Geralt’s adventure, with visual, gameplay, and other improvements. It includes both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
